FARMHOUSE CAKE MIX RECIPE

500g Farmhouse Cake Mix

250g water

215g dried fruit

(or for a cherry cake just add 200g of glace cherries!)

 

Method

Place dry mix into a mixing bowl fitted with a beater

Add water over 2 minutes on slow speed.

Scrape down and beat for 3 minutes on medium speed.  

Blend in the fruit on low speed until evenly distributed.

Guidelines;

Loaf Cakes (450g tin) : 400g mixture

Baking Guidelines; (ovens vary so please adjust times accordingly)

Loaf Cakes: 180°C (360°F); 50 mins (according to unit size)

 

WHEAT FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR; Calcium carbonate; Niacin; Iron; Thiamine); Sugar; Palm oil; Rapeseed oil; Maize starch; WHOLE EGG POWDER; WHEY POWDER; Raising agent: Diphosphates, Sodium carbonates; EGG WHITE POWDER; Emulsifier: Mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; Flavouring; Salt.
